PHYSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

Dear Parents, guardians and Dramatic Arts learners

Physical Theatre forms a vital part of the Dramatic Arts curriculum and we use it extensively in practical performances and in our entries into theatre competitions such as RAPS, EADS and FEDA.

We have managed to secure the Zikka Zimba Team to share their expertise with us on 11February 2017. They are predominantly centred around learning how to use the body to communicate a story or an idea- a type of non- verbal language. So They look at image building, shapes, form and using the body to tell a story, create environments and to convey meaning when working as an ensemble on stage. They also integrate these ideas with text and the voice.

This workshop is offered free of charge to our learners.
