The Life Sciences department of Greenside High is going on an excursion with all of the Grade 10 learners to Mogale’s Gate in Hekpoort on Tuesday the 5th of May 2015.
This trip is compulsory for all Life Sciences learners as it facilitates the completion of a formal project that will be used for their term 4 marks. The objective of this trip is to allow the learners to do the fieldwork/observations necessary to complete this Environmental Studies assessment. Parents to please note that there is NO tuck shop or canteen and learners need to bring their own lunch/snacks and a water bottle.
We have chosen Mogale’s Gate because of their excellent environmental education facilities and the availability of number of guides to assist with plant and animal identification. For more information you can visit their webpage: www.mogalesgate.co.za or call them on 014 576-2091/2375.
